Search engine

An Oracle-based search engine is an integral component of the webag automat. It allows high speed searches of the relational database contents and of unstructured data (such as Office documents, PDF files etc.), both within and outside the Oracle database.

The search-form can be seamlessly integrated into existing web design templates.

The search engine can optionally be used in an "unsharp" fuzzy search mode. In this mode results can be found that are similar matches to the search terms and with no loss of speed. For example, searching for "Smith" will also return the search result "Schmidt".
